  • Subcontract work to trusted partners where appropriate
  • Modify our service offerings at any time

All timelines, deliverables and costs are confirmed in writing before work commences. Verbal agreements are not binding.

4. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, icons, images and software — is the property of Brite IT Solution and is protected by UK and international copyright law.

Regarding work delivered to clients:

  • Upon full payment, clients receive full ownership of the custom code, designs and deliverables created specifically for their project
  • Any pre-existing frameworks, libraries or tools used in delivery remain the property of their respective owners
  • Brite IT Solution retains the right to display completed projects in our portfolio unless otherwise agreed in writing

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brite IT Solution shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use this website
  • Any errors or omissions in website content
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
  • Any third-party content or services linked from this website

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.

6. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in a project contract:

  • A deposit is required before work commences (typically 50% of the agreed project fee)
  • Remaining balances are due upon project completion or as milestones are reached
  • Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue
  • Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998
  • We reserve the right to suspend or withhold work if payments become overdue

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during the course of a project. This includes but is not limited to business strategies, technical systems, pricing information and client data.

This obligation continues for 2 years after the completion or termination of a project, unless a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement specifies otherwise.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement by providing written notice. In such cases:

  • The client is liable for payment for all work completed up to the termination date
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless Brite IT Solution is unable to commence the agreed work
  • Any work completed but not yet delivered remains the property of Brite IT Solution until outstanding payments are settled

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
